Description
Tel Aviv is Israel’s second largest city after Jerusalem, located on the Mediterranean Sea. It was founded in 1909 on the outskirts of the ancient port city of Jaffa.
The city is relatively multicultural, with many languages such as Russian, French, Spanish, Tagalog, Thai, Arabic, Amaric and Anglican often spoken alongside Hebrew.
Tel Aviv is the ninth largest beach city in the world. There are 13 official beaches covering more than 13 kilometres of miles.
Tel Aviv’s White City, which was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2003, includes the world’s largest concentration of modernist-style buildings.
Known as one of the world’s most innovative cities, its start-up scene is rivalled only by Silicon Valley.
This is a great gift idea for lovers of travel and touristy cities.
